Unit 2 Project Ideas

I think that doing something with gender would be really neat. There are so many aspects of gender for the 1950s that I could do. There were televisions shows, marriage, illness, and sexual image. There are so many ways to go about doing a paper on gender that I do not know which one to choose. I think the aspect on marriage and the different ways that males and are treated is the most interesting. I think making a poster along with my paper would be very informative. Today, the way that gender and marriage are portrayed are completely different and I think that seeing the difference first hand would be the most interesting. Each person in the class would be able to see gender differences too.

I can’t find where to a post a comment on your Unit 3 page, so here it goes. I really enjoyed your project. I thought that your topic was unique and very fitting. Miami’s Richard T. Farmer Business School is moving up in the rankings and therefore there definitely is a demand for more space, resources, classrooms, professors, faculty, bathrooms, and so on. I heard that the business school, when it opens, will be the biggest building on Miami’s campus! How exciting. I really enjoyed the music you played as well, it fits with the concept you are analyzing. It was neat that you took all your own photographs for this project. You are the crafty photographer! It was cool that you didn’t just take pictures of the building, but also of signs that were applicable to your topic. My good friend Dasha O’Leary is your ADPi sister. She says “Hi!”. Anyways, good job on your project! Two thumbs up!
